Christa P.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Christa has been in dentistry since 2013. She started her dental journey as a receptionist and then learned how to dental assist. This was the beginning of a long journey to finding dental hygiene. She decided to work in this field because “it was the one topic of conversation I could talk about for hours.” Christa loves meeting new people and helping them achieve their perfect smile. “My family didn’t know the importance of oral hygiene and that’s why I have so many restorations,” says Christa. This has lead her drive to prevent dental caries and periodontal disease from happening to other people through proper oral care and education.
Her favorite thing about Pospisil Family Dentistry is the team. “Working alongside people that also having a passion for patient care and dentistry means a lot to me, ”Christa says. She enjoys family time on her days off. Christa is married to Darren, and they share a fur baby named Dozer. Christa makes her patients comfortable and confident in her expertise by listening to their concerns/preferences intently and respecting their autonomy. She loves it when her patients are snoring in her chair because that means they trust her to take the wheel.
